March has started with a bang…
We have our new website, hurrah! Many thanks to Mark at Station9 (www.station9.co.uk) for the amazing job. Thoroughly recommend him. Check his photographs out too. Clever devil.
Yesterday was our monthly free ‘Breightmet Film Club’, with a packed house for ‘A Street Cat Named Bob’. Went down a treat and barely a biscuit crumb left.
We’ve been out filming at Castle Hill for a NHS consultation piece, capturing young people’s views on the Mental Health services in Bolton. #bekindtomymind
We’re getting ready for our new project ‘More in Common’ working with local women and refugee and asylum seekers, to produce a film about Women’s lives in Bolton and the similarities we all share. This project is funded by Bolton CVS Hate Crime Awareness fund so big thanks to them.
The end of the month sees us at Preston Guild Hall, filming the ‘When Lancashire Sings’ finale. ‘When Lancashire Sings’ is a project delivered by Lancashire County Council’s heritage department and Young Un’s Folk Group and involves school children from across Lancashire. Can’t wait!
