This Autumn we’re all about celebration here at The Videobox, we have the launch of one of our new films next week, and a series of project exhibitions coming up.
Our textile and multi media heritage project The People’s Quilt is in its final stages and we’re busy planning the celebration and unveiling event. The Quilt will then be going on tour around various cultural and community venues, before being used as a reminiscence resource for people with dementia. https://tinyurl.com/yae5b658
All the parents and children who took part in our Paint Pots and Tots project will soon see their art work, ceramics and photos displayed in a special celebration before taking home their canvasses from the photoshoot. Can’t wait to see them all again!!! https://tinyurl.com/y7cu5yoc
The ongoing Happiness Zine project, we have been running with the University of Bolton and Bolton at Home, will be celebrating the groups work with a display of all the zines produced before they are archived for use with the travelling happiness bar, and studied in further analysis by the University as a tool of creative engagement. https://tinyurl.com/yawezwrm
And the Breightmet Scarecrow Festival is back, bringing family activity and fun to our community, with a special family event on the 27th October. https://tinyurl.com/ybsfqrnp
