This week saw the first ‘More In Common’ session, where local women came together to start developing ideas with us for a film about their lives. There’s talk of puppets and mixed media…excited to see where this goes.
Last night saw us capture the first session of a new Community Cohesion Playwork project being delivered by Heartlift at the centre. All the kids seemed to love being superheroes and some new friendships were forged.
The ‘Sown in Bolton’ crowdfunder is currently open if you fancy chipping in. This local initiative encourages and supports deprived communities to grow their own produce in their gardens. When we were filming with the group, producing the crowdfunder video, the benefits were clear to see and we really hope they go from strength to strength.
