Taking a screening of the US film ‘The Fits’ as a starting point, this project explored issues of identity and supported the girls in producing their own personalized Zines. We looked at a variety of artists work and the different styles used by those artists to express their feelings and thoughts about the idea of self. Subjects covered included music, subcultures, activism and body image. Funded by Bolton Arts Forum.
